Snoqualmie Falls
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon we went to see the Snoqualmie water fall. It is only about 20 minutes or so away from Bellevue. There is the Salish Lodge at the top of the falls...so we stopped in and had some lunch and a glass of wine.
Our Trip to Mississippi
The first weekend in February, we headed down to Mississippi for Will Graham's wedding. Will went to Vandy Law with Chris and he was also an usher in our wedding. It was Alden's third plane trip and he traveled very well. He likes being pushed around in his stroller at the airport. He smiles and is content to play with his toys while we eat a meal at an airport restaurant. We are lucky that he is such an easy-going guy. We have photos from looking around the capital in Jackson, and we have video from the hotel room as well as dancing at the wedding reception.
Eating lunch at Julip. We had fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, and beignets.
A few pictures in front of the capital.
A family photo at the wedding.

Alden's First Bite of Solid Foods
It has been awhile since we have posted. This solid food milestone should have gone up in February....oh well. Alden had his first bit of rice cereal on February 4th. We have this event on video as well as in pictures for your viewing pleasure. Since then, Alden has already explored carrots, peas, green beans, squash and sweet potatoes for vegetables and he has decided that he likes them all except peas. He will actually tolerate peas, but he doesn't eat them quickly like everything else. Now in the mornings he is exploring fruits with his oatmeal cereal. So far he has had bananas and pears. Yummy.
